I studied Fine Arts at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogota (National University of Colombia, Bogota) from 1976 to1983). I did three extra years because the university was closed for a number of years while I was still doing my degree, due to socio-political unrest.
Ecole Massanas, Barcelona, Spain. I studied at this school of engraving, enameling, and bookbinding in 1986. I then studied engraving on glass at Morley College in Lambeth, South London. More recently, I studied Digital Origination at the London College Of Communication, Publishing faculty, Elephant and Castle, South London from 2004 to 2005. I had created digital art since 1997, and this course opened a lot of creative doors for me and opened my eyes to the fascinating digital world. Experience • I belonged to an artistic Movement in Colombia that celebrated and commemorated Pre-Colombian Art, “AWYAKA” 1978-1985 • Art therapy with children, some of whom had special need |
