I design, sew and knit a variety of textile items – aprons and zip bags, different sized toiletry bag sets , cosmetic bags, draw string bags, spectacle or phone cases, decorated tote bags, hand knitted scarves and baby blankets, “crazy quilted” Victorian hearts and miniature Christmas trees - a constant supply of new projects as I think of them! All finished to a high standard of workmanship. I love what I do!

WORKS ON SALE

This first picture is a Sashiko wall hanging that measures 112 x 60 cms (approx. 44 x 24 inches) These Japanese embroideries come in a variety of colours, both the background and the embroidery thread – the one in the picture is slate grey with white thread. They can be commissioned and will take around 6 weeks to complete. They can be edged and hung portrait style or perhaps framed and hung in a landscape format. Contact me for details.

Christmas tree ornaments – cotton patchwork, approximately 6 inches high. Cost £3.

Toiletry sets – a variety of sizes – washbags, cosmetic bags and a small bag all different fabrics, no two sets alike. All lined with waterproof fabric. Price dependent on collection of bags.

Tweedy embroidered bags, lined – approx. size 7 x 5 inches. Cost £7.

Cotton zipped bags. Approximate size 7 x 5 inches. Lined with toning fabric. Some of these bags are made from a range of pretty Liberty print material. Useful for all sorts of bits and pieces – headphones, make-up, loose change, tissues – the uses are endless! Cost £4.

Sashiko zipped bags – hand embroidered with a Japanese Sashiko design. Size approx. 8 x 7 inches. This is a slightly larger zipped bag for odd and ends. Cost £7.

Chain handled across-the-body-bags for keeping your valuables safe while you shop. Approx size 10 x 8 inches. Cost £12.

Victorian “crazy quilted” hearts – beautiful, softly stuffed hearts to use as decorative cushions – some are Japanese silk some cotton, with or without lace trim – all different but all stunningly beautiful! Cost £25

Aprons – full size aprons in a variety of fabrics and ties. Keep clean in the kitchen! Cost £9.

Baby blankets – hand knitted in washing machine friendly yarn. Approx. size 26 x 30 inches. Cost £22.
