Kathleen Taylor - Drawings and Paintings
I was born in London and have lived in Lee since 1989. I studied graphic design and illustration at West of England School of Art in Bristol, and since then have worked in publishing.
I have always had an interest in portraiture and people, preferring to draw and paint from life if possible, because for me, there is an emotional response to the figure and light that makes it special. It is a great opportunity to look really hard and capture something essential about the person you are studying.
