Jane Willingale
Jane began her career as a textile Designer. Having studied at Chelsea School of art Jane Sold designs worldwide: to the likes of Mary Quant and Issey Miyake.
A change of career saw the birth of 'LOUDWARE CERAMICS' and whilst participating in many Chelsea Craft Fairs and New York Gift fairs, Jane made contact with buyers from Big department stores and subsiquently sold her ceramics in the UK in the US and Europe; most notably to Sacs fifthAvenue, Barney's of New York and in London to Harvey Nichols. 2010 saw another Career change and the start of 'LOUDWARE JEWELLERY' a collection of Hand made Jewellery perspex and mixed media Jewellery made in collaboration with Her Sister Jill Neilan - maintaining the name LOUDWARE for their mailing list. Jane has, However always produced Lino prints, as a medium it is a very satisfying method of printing (Some prints using the cutaway or reduction method of printing). The subject matter of many of the prints are pots from LOUDWARE CERAMICS' and called 'LOUDWARE LINO' there is also a selection of greeting cards using the same imagery. |
