I have always had this urge to create art and have always been surrounded by creative people and this year’s open studio has allowed me to explore myself as an artist, which is extremely exciting for me. I have been exploring a range of techniques with printmaking including collagraphs, dry point & Lino cutting. The processes of each of these techniques I am interested in the most, the unknown of what each print will turn out like and the patience you have to obtain in the process has been the most satisfying. I have always been drawn to waves and the power of water so I felt this would be a good starting point.
