Cruz Jurado Traverso - Paintings
Cruz Jurado Traverso was born In Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1978. Having spent his childhood in the countryside. It was here he discovered his passion and love of landscape and horses. After studying at Consudec Institute, where he became a Professor of Arts in both Drawing and Painting, Cruz went on to do a Post Graduate at Ernesto de la Carcova Posgraduate Institute. After this, Cruz started to teach art from his studio as well as take on numerous commissions and several exhibitions. Cruz also had his work represented in the world renowned Cow Parade in Buenos Aires.
Cruz's work is based around the interaction of color and light and the perception of what he sees around him whilst maintaining the harmony of the land. Whether working in oils, acrylics, pencil or charcoal Cruz wants us to step into his paintings and see them as he does, to take us somewhere different or to evoke memories from the viewer. Having been influenced by the people he has met in his life and the landscapes all around him, Cruz wants his paintings to stimulate our senses. "I want to catch life's moments to share." He describes his finished paintings as "A window to the world around us". With his increasing popularity on the International Art Market Cruz has had his work collected around the world, including America, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain, UK, Argentina and Puerto Rico. |
