Artist statement: It is said that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’, and such, art making is a space for me to think about and express thoughts and feelings that are difficult to put down in words. Art making helps me connect to my many intersecting identities as artist, mental health practitioner, partner, daughter and beyond. I make art to make time for myself, find mindfulness and process things that are happening around me and within me. Hence, my art making values the process, rather than the end product. Nonetheless, the end product is significant, and every action, form and colour that appears on it, carries within it strong connections to my psyche at that particular time in my life. I like to think that when you buy my art, you become part of this journey, and my artworks continuos process that is dynamic and full of life.

Each carry meaning and emotion that is influenced by my mood and events in my life, however you as the viewer and new owner will enrich this, and the art will find new meaning and evolve as it makes it’s way, and settles into, it’s new home. -Like what you see, but not quite found the right fit? I’m forever making new art, so please don’t hesitate to contact me for new works available. I will also make specific pieces inspired by your space, colour palette and even you! The possibilities are endless, all you need to do is get in touch, and we can make that magic happen together!

Title: The Garden on the Moon • Price: £750 • Medium: Acrylic on canvas • Size: 60x50cm • Description: Having strong connections to solar and lunar phases, this piece was made at a hectic time period where I needed grounding, to see the bigger picture, and find some gentle connection to the spiritual.

Title: Untitled • Price: £550 • Medium: Acrylic and masking tape on canvas • Size: 92x61cm • Description: A nod to the playfulness, as well as messiness of life, this piece is a reminder that we all need time to ‘create’ and ‘rebuild’, whatever that may mean to you. The title is up to you to decide!
Title: The Red Sun • Price: £1100 • Medium: Acrylic on canvas(es) • Size: This is a triptych. Each piece is on a 51x41cm canvas. • Description: As the autumnal equinox passes, and the brighter days make way for the ‘darker half’ of the year, this piece honours the power and the life giving qualities of the sun, and perhaps encourages us to find the light that shines form within, even on those darker days.
