Amanda employs a range of painting and mixed-media techniques to play with contradictions in form and illusion.
She uses select urban and natural motifs as a vehicle for exposing optical truths and lies - visual states that cannot easily be separated. Lee Green Open Studios will be the first showing of her new series of works entitled 'Natural Curiosity' based on the vintage illustrations from the collection of Dutch zoologist Albertus Seba.
